ACADEMICS
At
ISM children are provided education in
line with the global educational
trends. ISM is committed to the use of
technology in learning and has an
extensive programme of value-based
education where emphasis is laid on
personal and social values.
Our students get ample opportunity to
display their skills in essay writing,
art, music and dance programmes and
competitions. The Annual Inter-House
competitions in dramatics, elocutions,
Quiz competitions and debates in
English and Hindi are a part of the
curriculum. Exhibitions form an
integral part of the school programme.

supplemented with educational trips to
various Natural Museums of Oman. These
trips are extended to India as part of
our learning programme.
National Standard Examinations and
Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics are regularly conducted.

Commonwealth Essay Competitions are
also organized. In addition Remedial
Classes, Tutorials and Special
coaching classes are arranged for the
benefit of our students.
Mentor system introduced at the Senior
Secondary level helps boost
self-confidence through personality
development exercises that are ideal
for building social and interactive
skills and a sense of 'self'.

Centre provides individual and
group counselling for personal and
social matters and is a data centre
for vocational guidance.
Career Guidance Seminars have proved a
veritable mine of information on top
professional courses.
ISM has a programme of 'Open Forum'
and parent-teacher meetings to
exchange views and to make parents and
the community part of the whole
educational process.
The school, through exchange
programmes with leading schools
abroad, provides opportunities for its
students to gain exposure to the
